A Busy Day For Appliance Repairs In Faversham!

We had quite the day carrying out appliance repairs in Faversham recently, called out to three separate households with three very different appliance problems on our hands. A washing machine drum stuck in place, a dishwasher not doing its job properly and an oven that wouldn't heat correctly. When The Drum Won't Turn

Our first customer in Faversham reported that their washing machine drum had stopped turning during the wash cycle. Our inspection revealed the motor carbon brushes had worn out, which meant the motor couldn't drive the drum the way it should.

We fitted new carbon brushes and reassembled the machine, then tested it through a wash and spin cycle to be sure. The drum was turning correctly again and the washing machine was back to full working order.

When Dishes Come Out Dirty

Our second customer said their dishwasher was finishing its cycles but leaving dishes dirty. After inspecting the machine, we discovered the circulation pump had failed, stopping the spray arms from rotating and water from reaching the dishes properly.

We fitted a replacement pump, put the dishwasher back together and ran it through a full test cycle. Water pressure returned to normal, the spray arms rotated as they should and the dishwasher was cleaning properly again.

When The Oven Won't Heat Properly

The final job of the day involved an electric oven that was heating too slowly and never reaching its set temperature. Our inspection found a failed fan oven heating element was to blame.

After fitting a new element and reassembling the oven, we tested it to confirm it reached and maintained the right temperature. The oven is now heating evenly and performing as it should.
